Hey all,
Anyone keen for a drift this weekend in Mangere? Saturday at 11am at the skatepark.
Giz a txt on 01202306405 and I'll let you know what the weather's like.
I went out there last Saturday, weather looked like s#&t everywhere but there, met up with p10der for a quick drift but even two people ain't enough, there is a main meet on the first weekend of March (Sunday) but I'm keen for one this weekend.

Well Sunday was a flop. But I put it up to short notice so I'm inviting everyone to another meet on the 2nd of March (Sunday) and maybe a few beers after lol.
For those who don't know, we meet opposite the mall in Mangere central at the skatepark. Huge smooth bowl, long driveway and netball courts at the end so there's plenty of room to accomodate any type of rc, even planes if any around.

Anyone in South (or the greater) Auckland area wanna meet up for a drift this weekend?
I was thinking of a evening drift on the 2nd feb Saturday night (I know, and no I don't have much of a social life...lol...I have kids...rofl) anyway now that I have lights I'm out there quite often late night drifting woohoo, ahem...OR we could meet up on the Sunday the 3rd for a day drift?
Was still thinking of the Mangere skatepark, in Mangere central (easy to find, can't miss it really, opposite the Mangere mall).
Saturday night around 9pm as that's sundown or 11am on Sunday.
If any, who's keener for what?

Hey members,
Jun and I have had extensive talks and have been scrutinizing all the entries, and have finally come up with the three catagory winners.
Most extreme manoeuvres=Grant with video comp big air http://slider.rcmate.org/blog/media/video/index.one?a=view_video&vid_id=159053
And for most entertaining rc related video=Brett with Video Comp-Dirty lil Buggy http://kingpin.rcmate.org/blog/media/video/index.one?a=view_video&vid_id=130351
Congratulations to the winners and to the other members that posted up their entries as they all looked as if they had heaps of fun. When the winners are ready, they can contact Jun with what motor they want as their prize.
We were happy with the quality of the entries but due to the lack of quantity of entries I talked Jun into dropping the main prize for the overall winner. But never fear as Jun has something up his sleeve as he still wants to give away a TT01 chassis.
So keep checking up as I know it'll be great.
Cheers everyone.
Duane.
