Hey people, well I took my family to Tauranga on the weekend, and the weather was perfect for us. Checked out our old haunts (Pap tav, Whoreingtons lol, ...and so on), but on Sunday I also took my TA05 to the rc track in Tauranga up passed the cop station, thinking I was gonna be alone but got there and there was a bit of a club day going. These guys running stock (going hard too), anyway we got to talking and they let me run my 05 (11 turn, top end gearing and abs tyres) and I was ripping up the track, it was awesome, I kicked myself not taking a camera but I'm definately going back with one soon again. I wanna know who drifts in tauranga, do you go to that track and how often? Just msg me and I'll get back to you. On another note, the video comp is coming to an end soon so you have just a few days before it finishes. 19th November everyone. Cheers. |

Hey members, it was brought to our attention that we should have a place to post up links to member videos for the video competition so we can all see them easier.
Thanks Brett as it is a good idea.
Just click on forums>RC Racing and events in New Zealand>Video Competition links, then reply to my post and add the link to your video that has been uploaded on rcmate.org.
Even tho the competition officially opened on the 28th September we had some entries before that date so all entered videos from the 18th September to the 19 November can be posted up on the forum and will be eligable for the awesome prizes that Jun has donated to the comp.

Hey people, I was wondering if anyone wants to meet up on the long weekend Sunday?
21st October, I hope not everyone's going away that weekend as it'll be a sucky meet.
Anyway for you new members, we meet up at the Mangere skatepark on Bader Drive at the David Lange park opposite the Mangere mall around 11am.
It's pretty awesome as the skatepark's smooth as for drifting and has mean jumps for good airtime and heaps of grass area to really open up those nitro trucks, also just down the end of the lane there's the netball courts and there's plenty of room for those onroad nitros.
Don't be shy (your mother wasn't) LOL.

Just letting you all know that the vid comp's under way so could you title your videos "Video comp" so we will know, I noticed that Tony had upload problems, if you do come across problems uploading videos, just be patient as it might just be site problems.
